WOW! Where has the first quarter of the year gone? I still feel like Christmas was only last week 🤣
I have returned to teaching sewing classes, It has been lovely to finally get back together with you! It made me realise just how much I enjoy teaching face to face, sharing ideas and being apart of a community.
I have also enjoyed teaching courses online! The many sewing friends I have now made from around the world feels like an extension of this community and the support has been inspiring 🥰
When teaching, I have found though that the full day face to face classes have a lot to learn and remember in them! Often critical parts get forgotten about afterwards, normally from to much laughing and eating cake 🤣!
So to support my lovely students, I plan on releasing the majority of classes I have taught in person online! No more worrying about taking notes, or loosing them, or remembering all the steps involved!
It will all be in one place for you to refer back to afterwards!
I have all ready released a couple of classes 'The Retreat Bag Bundle" and "The Heidi Fold Over Clutch" to the people that attended the 'lockdown zoom classes' and the feedback has been very positive.
So as a thank you to everyone that has attended a 'face to face' class you will have access to the equivalent online version for FREE! More news and how to apply coming soon!
As well as expanding My Online Learning Academy I have also successful gained a position as a 'Creative Learning Leader' at The Coro in Ulverston to teach bag making, and secured bookings at Hare Hill Barn, Cumbria, to teach Dress Making!
Both these venues offer exceptional service and each location has its own character and charm. I am so excited to be working with these Business 🥰
To ensure these events are a success and to give extra added value to the students attending, The Cumbria Sewing and Craft Centre in Barrow will be supporting the events and I will be bringing with me a selection of supplies to enhance your sewing journey!
